Great DLC that adds period thats not covered in games. OOB great little gem, yeah there are few bugs but there getting sorted, there lot input at forums and devs listen do there best. This add on kept me busy good few hours so far.I highly recommend buying this.. I very much recommend this expansion not only for the gameplay it self but for anyone interested in WW2. This expansion covers a from of the war rarely covered by other games and its refreshing to see the sino-japanese war being covered. the devs have done their job well.. Great DLC that adds period thats not covered in games. OOB great little gem, yeah there are few bugs but there getting sorted, there lot input at forums and devs listen do there best. This add on kept me busy good few hours so far.I highly recommend buying this.. Wow, what a fun campaign. Genocidal history aside. I super enjoyed this, it was fun and challenging. You felt super overextended almost all the time by halfway through the campaign. The end was also very satisfying if you achieve total victory.. This is my second dlc here. My first was Winter War.Played just first scenario and it almost seems already obvious how better thought out and well made this is.Will update review later.EDIT: somewhere at the middle of campaign and I can confirm initial impressions.. I was reticent to buy this one. Knowing a lot about the history involved makes it tough to want to play the Japanese side, given the atorcities involved. That being said, so far I find it fascinating. The scenario involving the Great Wall and the Mongolian allies made me do more research on the history of Japan's invasion of China and led me to learn a lot of new things about WW2. Is it weird to say 'I love the scenery!' in a turn-based military strategy game? I think one of the things I'd love to see more of in the Order of Battle DLC is to do more with both sides. They have offered both sides of Pearl Harbor, Midway, etc. I think doing more of this is a no-brainer. Let's see a DLC where we can play the Chinese side.. Playing as the Japanese makes you fighting and bringing honorary for the Emperor Hirohito against Chinese Republic. Good content with interesting new features.
