Is it possible to play a midi sound using the midi note track without getting the error message?

I am using the new program called "Crisis General Midi 3.01" from SonicLover, and it works perfectly. However, when i use the midi note track to play the midi sound, it displays the error message. "Crisis General MIDI 3.01" is what I am using to play this midi sound.
When i went to the "Cycres General MIDI SoundFont 3.01" folder, i did not see a "midi" folder, and i did not see any midi sounds in the folder either. What is happening?
I am currently using Windows 8.1 64-bit.

(1) Do I have to have the original soundfont to use this one?
No, the sounds are identical. You just have to download Crisis General MIDI 3.01 and its Soundfont, then add this to the library of your Mac or Windows PC.
(2) Why don't i see a midi folder in the Crisis General MIDI 3.01 folder?

The Soundfont is a program which produces MIDI sequences based on the soundfont, so the user can play any sound they have created.
When you get the program installed on your computer, it will prompt you to select a Soundfont to be installed. By default, it will automatically select the one included in the folder.
